East Bay Coworking
These days there are many options for coworking in the East Bay, and a lot of them are new. Some of the more unique locations are mixing flexible workspace with rooms for creativity. Others are positioning themselves as community centers for workshops and events. Whatever the case, if you’ve grown out of your home office and the local coffee shop is just too rowdy, maybe it’s time to check one of these guys out.
The Port — Two locations (317 Washington and 101 Broadway).
Impact Hub Oakland — Popular with nonprofits and community organizations, but inclusive for all.
Tech Liminal — Downtown Oakland. Great vibe. Check out their classes, meetups, and workshop weekends!
Oakstop — 1721 Broadway. Flexible workspaces + creative energy.
Coworking Walnut Creek
Sandbox Suites — Close to downtown Berkeley BART station.
NextSpace Berkeley — Across from downtown Berkeley BART station.
ShareSpace@Ashby — Coworking space near the Ashby BART station.
No official coworking spaces in Alameda (that we’re aware of).
Coworking San Leandro
We certainly have left a few off this list. Drop us a note if there’s one you’d like us to include.
